What does it mean to be In Christ

In these perilous times, its essential that Christians understand what it means to be in Christ and the power we possess as followers of Christ.

When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable says Myles Munroe. What a profound statement to utter, the matter of being IN Christ as become just a mere statement and many Christians need to starts living up this truth following the understanding of what it means to be IN Christ and Christ in US.

When we become a Christian as a result of believing and acceptance of the Jesus Christ for who He is as our Lord and Savior and most importantly as the Son of the Most High God. [John 3:6], we become ONE with Christ. We are in Him as He is in the Father.

What this means is that we share the same life of God, the same life-giving spirit possessed by Jesus Christ at Resurrection. As he is in heaven, so are we on this earth. [1 John 4:17]

John 17:22-23

I (Jesus) have given them the glory You (God) gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one. I in them and You in Me— that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me.

Its crucial that we (Christians) are in Christ and whatever that cannot oppress Jesus cannot oppress us if you believe.

No sickness or death nor diseases can survive our body because our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit only if you believe & confess this truth always, remember these signs shall follow those who believe.

Mark 16:17-18

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

We are only able to express these signs if we believe that Christ is in us and we are in Christ Jesus.

John 14:20: When that day comes, you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me, just as I am in you.

According to the passage above, Jesus Christ was talking to his disciples about how God will glorify and honor him through his resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit. [Romans 6:10-11].

We also need to glorify God in our body [Romans 12:1], in our lifestyle so that unbelievers will see and marvel at our lifestyle of peace, triumph, faith, and good success.

The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
